Mission Statement
The Fayetteville Soccer Club’s Recreation program seeks to provide young people with opportunities to have fun while learning and developing their soccer abilities. Teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play are stressed. And in keeping with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association’s recreation soccer philosophy, emphasis is placed on participation, not competition. Youth Soccer
Each fall and spring over 800 children register to play in the Fayetteville Soccer Club’s recreation program. This program is geared for children who are beginning their soccer career or just want to have fun playing soccer.
The children are placed in age divisions ranging from U6 to U18 year old teams. Mainly parent volunteers coach these teams. Each child will be expected to attend one practice and one game a week. All practices will be held at a recreation center or school that is close to your neighborhood if possible. Please keep in mind that if there are not enough players to sign up from your area, then you may have to travel to a practice area that is not as close to your neighborhood as you would like. On the registration form, please indicate the neighborhood where you live so we can attempt to place your child with other players and a coach from your area. All games will be played at the Jordan Soccer Complex located at 445 Treetop Drive off Ramsey Street across from TLC Car Wash.

Little Kicker Program (U4-U5)
The Little Kicker Program was new in the Fall of 2009. This program is designed for our youngest players. The program introduces new players and parents to the wonderful game of soccer. The players and parents meet once a week, on Saturday mornings, for an hour. The training is led by a licensed coach from the FSC staff and is assisted by some of the select team members. A different topic is introduced each week. These topics cover the basics of kicking, dribbling, passing and shooting. Body movement, body awareness, balance, and mobility are encouraged as well as activities that have a ball at every player's feet. The training session is for one hour. The first part of the session is spent on activities and instruction. The last part of the session is spent on six minute games. All players will participate in these games. The games will be 3v3 and there will be no player substitutions. The program is held for eight weeks at the Jordan Soccer Complex and coincides with recreation season. Fees include one hour of instruction per week, a t-shirt and a size three ball.
